Results can be seen after one treatment lasting 30 to 60 minutes, though more dramatic results can be achieved over several visits.
TAKE-HOME TEETH WHITENING
Dentist-supervised take-home treatments consist of a mouth guard-like tray that delivers the whitening gel. At Sweetwater Dental Studio, we use the Venus White brand of products, which offers the advantage of resulting in reduced tooth sensitivity, a common side effect of other tooth whitening systems. To use the take-home treatment, the patient will first be fitted for the customized bleaching trays, made by the dentist’s office. The gel is available in three different strengths, and we will select the one most suitable for each case. To use the system, the gel is applied to the trays, which are worn on the teeth. Treatment times will be provided by our cosmetic dentist in Sugar Land, as they vary depending on the individual and strength of gel being used. Once finished, the tray will be removed and any remaining gel on the teeth can be brushed away.
